Online Truss Solver

By using this little web application you can solve any flat truss with a maximum of 30 nodes. The system calulates the axial forces, the displacements of the joints, and the deformation of the elements of the structure. It also draws the deformed structure because of the loads applied to the joints. The system works, but always be sure to check the results as it is not developed for professional use.

1. Add Joints Coor X (m)
Coor Y (m)
(alternatively)
Add joints from a list
insert joints coordinates according to the following format:
X1/Y1(space)X2/Y2(space)...Xn/Yn
2. Add frame object
First joint

(or click on the first joint)

Last joint

(or click on the last joint)
Section area

mm2

Young's modulus

N/mm2

3.

Add restraint Joint to be restrained

(or click on the desired node)
Type of restraint:

4. Add loads Select joint

(or click on the joint)
Load X-component
kN

Load Y-component
kN

No joint selected   No frame selected
